DEER ISLE — By the slimmest of margins, the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners claimed their second win in as many outings, nipping the Bangor Christian Patriots 8-7 on Tuesday.
The Mariners fell behind 5-0 in the early going, but scored in each of the final four innings.
Nathan Davis singled home the winning run as the Mariners came up with four runs in the bottom of the seventh to win.
Joe Condon had two singles and a double and Connor Morey had three singles and drove in a run for the Mariners.
Seth Pearson doubled and singled with an RBI and Cody Collins had a run-scoring double for the Patriots.
