SEARSPORT — The Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners snapped a scoreless tie with four runs in the top of the fourth inning and went on to down the Searsport Vikings 7-4 on Wednesday.

Kevin Melanio’s two-run single was the key hit in the fourth inning, and Joe Condon slammed a two-run home run in the seventh inning for the Mariners.

Hayden Ciomei got the win on the mound for DI-Stonington and contributed three hits for the day, and Condon finished with three runs batted in.

Alex Carroll singled twice and drove in two runs and Theo Leblanc had a pair of singles for the Vikings.
