WENHAM, Mass. — Adam Quinn scored on five goals and assisted on another to lead Gordon to a 16-7 men's lacrosse win over Maine Maritime. The Fighting Scots (7-7) built a 9-2 lead by the half, and outshot the Mariners (4-8) 45-19 in the game.

Quinn was one of three Gordon players with multiple goals. Wes Chittick scored a pair and racked up five assists for a seven-point day, while Mio Sison scored two and assisted on as many.

Nicholas Betti (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) punched up a season-high five goals for Maine Maritime. Alex Hermes (Fallsington, Pa.) scored twice and assisted on a goal. Jack Tragert (Naples) won five of the seven faceoffs he took for the Mariners. Erik Milles (Bangor) worked the first half, allowing nine goals and stopping seven shots. Gavin Cote (Arundel) worked the second half. He posted three saves and allowed seven.

Maine Maritime was without the services of Andrew DiSalvo (Glastonbury, Conn.). The senior, who is tied as the Mariners career points leader was sidelined with an injury.

The Mariners close out the regular season at Maine-Farmington on Wednesday afternoon.
