BAR HARBOR — June Fredricka “Fredi” Isaacs, a longtime summer visitor to Mount Desert Island and the Bar Harbor area, passed away at her home in Lexington, Ky., on April 3, 2012. Beginning in the 1980s, Fredi and her husband, Tom, and their children were yearly summer residents of the Wonderview Inn in Bar Harbor. More recently, Fredi and Tom had stays at Pier One in Southwest Harbor and at other locations on the Quietside.

She is survived by Tom, her husband of 50 years; three children, Elizabeth Rush of Lexington, Thomas Jr. of Port Huron, Mich., and Laurence of Durham, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Katie, Molly, Daniel and Eleanor Elizabeth.
