Series History: Maine Maritime and Husson will square off for the ninth time since 1998. The Mariners own a lead of 5-3 in the series, but Husson has taken three straight, including a pair last year.

The Last Meeting: The teams last met on a rain-soaked Boucher Field in Bangor in the 2011 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Semifinals. Husson came away with a 10-7 win, led by Chris Pelletier's hat trick.

Husson's Last Game: The dual performance of Husson's Mitch Heaps and Ben Landry was too much for the Green Mountain College men's lacrosse team as the pair combined for 12 goals en route to an easy 22-1 victory in Sunday afternoon's North Atlantic Conference action.

Maine Maritime's Last Game: Castleton State College outscored Maine Maritime 4-1 during a decisive second period en route to a tightly contested 10-8 win in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's lacrosse action Sunday afternoon at Spartan Stadium.

Five Things You Should Know…

5. Maine Maritime will honor seven seniors making their last regular season appearance at Ritchie Field on Wednesday: Brian Corain, Andrew DiSalvo, Ryan Geist, Emmett Huber, Nick Lund, Erik Milles, and Ryan Williams. The seniors have put together a record of 26-22 in their careers at Maine Maritime.

4. Maine Maritime is 2-0 this season when playing a lacrosse game on Ritchie Field immediately following a softball double header on Ritchie Field.

3. On the night we honor the seniors, it is appropriate to look ahead, especially when the future looks bright. With two of the top three scorers graduating, Maine Maritime fans can take comfort in the fact that the next three leading scorers are freshmen. Nicholas Betti has posted 13 goals and two assists, Bronson Guimond has 11 goals and nine assists, while A.J. Larrabee has seven goals and two assists.

2. This game will likely determine who is the three seed and who is the four seed in the NAC playoffs next weekend. Husson comes to town with two of the NAC's top five point scorers in 2012. Ben Landry has 45 goals and six assists on the year, while Nick Brown has 16 goals and 26 assists.

1. DiSalvo and Corain have combined for 323 career points. DiSalvo has 211 points, and needs four to match the school record owned by Christopher Keiley. Corain is sixth all-time with 112 points. He can move up to sixth with two points. Junior Tom Houle is fifth in career points with 116.
