SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The Westside Rides bike road race is set for Sunday, May 27, and is sponsored by the Harbor House Community Service Center.
The Pro Ride follows a 30-mile route around the western side of Mount Desert Island. Another option for racers is the Easy Rider course for those who want to bike at a more leisurely pace. This year, participants can sign up for the Go the Distance Ride and race the entire 30-mile Pro Ride at their own pace. Race proceeds benefit the Harbor House Sports Program.
