BANGOR — On May 30, the Maine Affiliate of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and Acadia Hospital will co-host an event featuring Jimmy Pollard, an expert in the cognitive challenges of Huntington’s disease (HD).
At the Acadia Hospital, located at 268 Stillwater Ave. in Bangor, Pollard will present two sessions with time for questions: one from 4 to 6 p.m. and a repeat session from 7 to 9. Anyone with family members or clients who have Huntington’s disease is encouraged to attend. There is no charge for admission. Donations to HDSA will be accepted.
