SOUTHWEST HARBOR — There is still time to see the work of Elise Palmer and Leslie Jones at the Southwest Harbor Public Library. The women were chosen as artists of the month for April and their work is on display through the end of the  month.

Ms. Palmer, a watercolorist, exhibits her paintings throughout the library, and Ms. Jones, a jewelry designer, displays her work in the Holmes Room curio cabinet. The exhibit will be on display during the month of April.

Ms. Palmer has a background in textile conservation and is an accomplished needlework designer. Ms. Jones’ work has been featured in Maine Magazine and will appear in a summer issue of Vanity Fair.

The library is holding a raffle to benefit children’s programming for a choice of one of two pieces Leslie has donated. For more information, contact the library at 244-7065 or visit www.swharbor.lib.me.us.
