BAR HARBOR – Blue Hill farmer Dan Brown and his troubles with the Maine Department of Agriculture that stemmed from his sale of raw milk without a license last fall are profiled in the movie “You Wanted to Be a Farmer,” which will be screened for free this Saturday, April 21 at Reel Pizza Cinerama.

The documentary is a production of No Umbrella Media and The Sap Pail, in association with Food for Maine’s future. The movie comprises interviews with Mr. Brown and his wife Judy and their patrons and neighbors, and asks questions regarding food policy and the current regulatory environment. A discussion including members of the local farming community follows the film. For more information contact Terrry-Anya Hayes at 917-536-7440.
