Written by  Fenceviewer Staff Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 1:26 pm

BAR HARBOR — “You Wanted To Be A Farmer: A Discussion of Scale,” a new documentary about the plight of a Blue Hill farmer who wanted to sell raw milk from his cow without getting an expensive state license, will be shown at Reel Pizza Cinerama on Saturday, April 21, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Through interviews with Brown family and their patrons, the film takes a look at how food policy affects everyone and asks important questions about the regulation of neighbors feeding neighbors

The screening and discussion that will follow are free. Members of the local farming community will speak briefly as well. Contact Terrry-Anya Hayes at 917-536-7440 with any questions.
