Jolly Juniors 4-H Club will hold its annual roadside cleanup on Thursday, April 12, from 3:30 until done. The rain date is Friday. The club will meet at the Waltham Fire Department and welcomes any and all who would like to help! When done we’ll have a hot dog roast! Call Joannie Jodrey at 584-2006 for more information or to volunteer.

We would like to thank the following for their continued support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library at Cave Hill School: Hometown Fuel, Joe and Mary Jordan, Shannon Manzi, the town of Eastbrook and Judith Whitcomb. Preschoolers signed up for the program will be receiving their first book during the month of April! If you have a preschooler, live in either Eastbrook or Waltham, and would like to be a part of this program, please contact Betsy Beardsley, program coordinator, at Cave Hill School 565-3638.

The Jolly Juniors 4-H Club participated in the Hancock County Food Drive and collected over 170 items to donate! We would like to thank all who helped support our club and the food drive!

Cave Hill students would like to thank Peter and Emily Jordan for providing a place to stay for our actors who came to work with us and helped us perform “The Fisherman’s Wife.” If you would like to order a DVD of the Children’s Stage Adventures performance, please call the school.

There will be a potluck supper to benefit AJ and Shawna Morse and their daughters, who lost their home to a fire last week. Please bring a dish and join us on Friday, April 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cave Hill School. Donations will be accepted for the family.

If you have an incoming kindergartner who will be 5 before Oct. 15 please call the school to set up an appointment for Cave Hill kindergarten screening on May 10. If you have a child who will be 4 by Oct. 15 and would like them to attend our pre-K program, please call the school at 565-3638 to get their name on a waiting list.
