Hilts Landscaping Expands Garden Shop

Written by  Jacqueline Weaver Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 8:46 am

HANCOCK — Hilts Landscaping reopened this season with a retail shop featuring garden tools and accessories as well as gifts and other items.

Elizabeth Hilts and her husband, Robert, took down a wall behind the retail area and moved their garden supply products into the space.

The new shop includes all things garden related — garden tools, seeds, gardening gloves, fertilizers, organic pesticides, bird seed, bird feeders, watering cans and other goods.

Hilts, which opened in 1998 across from Le Domaine restaurant on Route 1, operates a full nursery with landscaping plants and trees as well annuals, perennials and cut flowers.

“High quality is our forte,” said Manager Dory Parè.

The retail shop carries jewelry, gardening and other books, puzzles, clothing and accessories, home goods, note cards and a range of gifts for all ages.
