Area students were named to the dean’s list at Colby College in Waterville for their outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester.

Benjamin K. Bricker, a member of the Class of 2012, is the son of Jay and Barbara Bricker of Gouldsboro. He is majoring in classical civilization and is a graduate of Sumner Memorial High School.

Letson B. Douglass, a member of the Class of 2012, is the daughter of Dana and Anna Douglass of Deer Isle. She is majoring in global studies and is a graduate of Deer Isle-Stonington High School.

Monique R. Goodin, a member of the Class of 2012, is the daughter of Bruce and Lynn Goodin of Bucksport. She is majoring in studio art and art history and is a graduate of Bucksport High School.

Neal C. LaFrance, a member of the Class of 2012, is the son of Phillip and Mamie LaFrance of Brooklin. He is majoring in anthropology and is a graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School.

Dominique V. Kone, a member of the Class of 2012, is the son of Lorie Stevens of Bucksport and is majoring in environmental studies with a science concentration. He is a graduate of Bucksport High School.
