WINTER HARBOR — A workshop for educators on incorporating nature learning into classrooms and child-care settings is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, at the Schoodic Education and Research Center (SERC).
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Through music, crafts, language and movement, the Growing Up WILD early childhood education program is designed to use with children ages 3-7. The $25 workshop fee covers the cost of the 128-page Growing Up WILD activity guide.
An optional tour of the newly renovated SERC campus is available following the workshop. Snacks will be provided by Friends of Acadia.
