BAR HARBOR — Margaret Hodgkins, formerly of Grand Canyon, Ariz. and Bar Harbor, exchanged vows with Marv Mason, aka Marvelous Marv, on Jan. 15, 2012 at the Historic Hotel Weatherford in Flagstaff, Ariz. in a brief eclectic ceremony officiated by Jay Redfeather of Williams, Ariz.

The bride wore a handmade floor-length white-on-white silk lotus brocade cheongsam trimmed with fur collar and cuffs, white gloves and white fur-trimmed mules. She carried a bouquet of flamenco orange roses.

The groom wore a traditional Native American ribbon shirt with black jeans. Best man Wes Ponsford of Hesperia, Calif. wore a Hawaiian shirt, jeans and flip flops. Matron of honor Philomena (Mindy) Mann Nez of Grand Canyon and Cameron, Ariz. wore traditional Navajo regalia in turquoise and coral and she carried a conical wedding basket.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Lawrence Hodgkins of Bar Harbor.

Relatives in attendance included Bruce and Debra Staples of Trenton; Rich and Ann Rice of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Maryann Minnick of Cottonwood, Ariz.; Arlene and Sarah Minnick of Sedona, Ariz.; John and Lindsay Minnick of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Doug and Sheryl Magnuson of Payson, Ariz. Many friends of longstanding attended the joyous event. A good time was had by all.

The bride and groom reside in Williams, Ariz. and plan a summer honeymoon.
