Trojans Best Eagles, Hawks

BLUE HILL — The GSA Eagles hosted the Hermon Hawks and the Mount Desert Island Trojans on Wednesday.

The Trojans downed the host Eagles 54-10, collecting all but one win by forfeit.

On the mat for MDI, Adam Ranco pinned Tim Allen at 220 pounds.

For GSA, Alex Turanski scored a major decision over Wilder Young at 126 pounds and Jordan Lord pinned Josh Silva at 132 pounds.

MDI bested Hermon 48-24 but lost three of the four bouts on the mat.

Lucas Murphy had the only head-to-head win for the Trojans, pinning Andrew Rediker at 170 pounds.

In GSA’s 24-18 loss to Hermon, Lord pinned Codey Staples at 132 and the other two wins for the Eagles came via forfeits.
