ELLSWORTH — In the most current Maine Principals’ Association standings for Eastern Maine Class B, the Trojans are in the top spot by a fraction of a point, with Camden Hills and Medomak Valley, each at 7-2, tied for second and Ellsworth four-tenths of a point behind them in fourth.
In the Eastern Maine Class C standings, all three Hancock County teams remain among the 11 teams in playoff contention.
The 9-1 Sumner Tigers are second, trailing the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx by less than two points.
The 5-5 Bucksport Golden Bucks are seventh and the 4-5 George Stevens Academy Eagles are ranked 10th.
The 4-3 Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners are ranked seventh among 15 qualifying teams in Class D, with the 4-3 Acadia Christian Seahawks currently ranked 19th.
