ELLSWORTH — Area women are invited to a “Women & Wheels” evening at Darling’s Auto Mall Jan. 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., where they will learn how to buy and take care of a car.
While sipping wine and munching on cheese and chocolate, those attending will be tutored in the automotive world in four 15-minute lessons.
Office Manager Katie Seavey said a similar event was held in Bangor recently and was a big hit, so Darling’s decided to do the same in Ellsworth.
In addition to the hors d’oeuvres, each woman will receive a goodie bag, a free car wash, valet parking and a chance to win a spa day “for you and your car.”
