BAR HARBOR — The Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra (TEMPO) has Christmas cheer and plans to share it in a series of concerts featuring familiar carols, some in new arrangements.

Christmas Cheer concerts are set for Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. at St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church in Bar Harbor.

Prior to that, a concert is set for the Family Bible Church in Ellsworth on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.

The suggested donation for TEMPO’s Christmas Cheer Concert is $7 per person, but $3 for students.

“The TEMPO musicians are excited to serve the communities of Mount Desert Island and beyond,” said Ms. Edmondson, conductor and artistic director of TEMPO. “We want to be true to our name and provide opportunities to experience orchestral music to area musicians and audiences, alike.”
