Mike Bennett on drums, and the COA Jazz Trio is set to be the opening act.
Mr. Wittner, who teaches at Bowdoin College and the University of Southern Maine School of Music, has performed around the world for more than 25 years, including as a Fulbright grantee and a jazz ambassador for the U.S. State Department. He is known as a specialist in the life and music of Thelonius Monk, and for his arrangements of blues and folk Americana. Admission is free and open to all.
