CASTINE — Maine Maritime Academy goalkeeper, William Trace Lacour (Charlottesville, Va.) was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Lacour kept his net empty through 200 minutes of soccer on the weekend to wrap up a 1-1-1 week for Maine Maritime. He turned in four saves against New England College and five more against Maine-Presque Isle on Sunday for his eighth and ninth shutouts of the season.
Lacour and the Mariners wrapped up their regular season at 8-4-3 and will await the release of the NAC playoff parings.
