SOUTHWEST HARBOR — On Saturday evening, Oct. 22, The Common Good Community of Southwest Harbor is holding a major fund-raiser to help launch its third winter of weekly community meals and other events.
For this special event, two of the most popular performances from past years will occur on the same night: A magic show by Dr. Wilson’s Theater of Marvels will kick the evening off at 6.
The popular acoustic blues and folk band Whose Muddy Shoes from Boston will then perform starting at 7.
Doors will open at 5:30.
The suggested donation for admission at the door is $10 for adults and $5 for children 5-12 years of age.
The Common Good Soup Kitchen and Cafe is located at 566 Seawall Road in Southwest Harbor, on Route 102A, adjacent to the Seawall Motel.
