BAR HARBOR — The American Shakespeare Company is set to perform William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at College of the Atlantic’s Gates Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 15, beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 at the door on a first-come, first-seated basis. Admission is open to the public.

The American Shakespeare Co. specializes in creating Shakespearean performances as they may have been played at the Globe Theatre, filled with all sorts of unexpected antics. As one recent patron said, “If everyone saw Shakespeare this way, everyone would love Shakespeare!”

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is the play featuring lovers – fae and human – romping in the woods on Midsummer’s Eve, and of love matches, mismatches and mistaken identities.
