Bucks Outlast Eagles

BUCKSPORT — The Bucksport Golden Bucks improved their record to 4-6 as they downed the GSA Eagles 4-2 on Monday in Bucksport.

Bailey Graychase scored three goals and Sam Stearns had one for the Golden Bucks, with Graychase, Stearns, Carter DeRedin and Brady MacLeod all recording assists.

For GSA, Ben Plohr had both goals with Schuyler Van der Eb and Alex Turanski providing assists.

Goalkeeper Ryan Grindle had nine saves on 16 shots for Bucksport and Ben Olivari made eight stops on 18 shots for the 5-5 Eagles.

GSA is currently ranked 10th and Bucksport 13th in Eastern Maine Class C.
