THORNDIKE — The Bucksport Golden Bucks remained undefeated with a 16-2 win over the Mount View Mustangs on Saturday.

Mike Cumming scored on an eight-yard run in the first quarter, and Chris Powell had a two-yard scoring jaunt in the fourth period.

The Golden Bucks also added a safety in the final period when Jordan Fogg tackled Mount View quarterback Jalen Babin in the end zone.

Josh Gray kicked two extra points for the Golden Bucks as they improved to 4-0.

Mount View’s only points came in the second period when Bucksport’s Cummings was sacked in the end zone.

Cummings finished with 127 yards rushing and completed five passes for 71 yards, and Shawn Smith rushed for 115 yards for the Bucks.

Nick Bishop had eight solo tackles, Powell had seven, and Smith and Damon Kleindinst had six each for Bucksport.
