Wolverines Too Much For Mariners

DEER ISLE — Derrick Tanous scored three goals and Harley McLaughlin and Matt Thompson added single tallies as the Schenck Wolverines downed the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners 5-1 on Saturday.

Ollie Bartos had the lone goal for the Mariners.

Goalkeepers Hayden Ciomei and Hayden Torrey combined for 24 saves on 32 shots for DI-Stonington, and Jared Albert had 22 stops on 23 shots for the Wolverines.
