Lady Tigers Edge Vikings

SULLIVAN — A goal by Sequoia Johnson with nine minutes to go lifted the Sumner Tigers to a 3-2 win, their first of the season, over the Searsport Vikings on Wednesday.

Savanah Turner had a goal and an assist and Genesis DiCarlo scored for the Tigers.

Briana Grant notched both goals for the Vikings.

Goalkeeper Deanna Watson had 10 saves on 21 shots for the Tigers and Allison Brooks made nine stops for Searsport.
