ELLSWORTH — Sandy Phoenix and Phil Elkin, longtime Blue Hill residents and local health care practitioners, will share the story of their three years of living and working in Lesotho on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Ellsworth.
Although Lesotho has one of he world’s highest rates of HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, the people maintain their love for their country and the visitors who come to help.
The program is free and open to the public.
The church is located at 121 Bucksport Road in Ellsworth.
