Lady Riots Pound Bucks

ORONO — The Orono Red Riots took control early and dominated, downing the Bucksport Golden Bucks 7-0 in a Class C matchup.

The Red Riots had a big game from sophomore Hanna Renedo, who had a three-goal hat trick and contributed two assists.

Analies Ross-Dyjak had two goals and three assists, Diana Tyutyunnyk had a goal and two assists and Theresa Huelk had a goal and an assist for the Red Riots, who took a 4-0 lead in the first half.

The Golden Bucks were limited to six shots on goal and Orono’s Taylor Gray had three saves.

Bailey Blair made nine saves on 26 shots for the Golden Bucks.
