HERMON — First-half goals by Nick Holt and Kyle Haslam provided the margin of victory for the Ellsworth Eagles in a 2-0 win over the Hermon Hawks on Thursday.

It was the second shutout for Eagle goalkeeper Thomas Sawyer, who recorded eight saves on 10 shots.

Hunter Clukey and Brandon Dyer combined for five saves on 11 shots for the Hawks.
