SULLIVAN — The Bucksport Golden Bucks rolled to a 3-1 win over the Sumner Tigers on Wednesday.
Bucksport grabbed a two-game lead with 25-4 and 25-16 wins, but the Tigers came up with a 25-21 victory in the third game before falling 25-5 in the final game.
For Bucksport, Grindle had 8 aces, Dovland had 3 aces and 4 assists, Porter had 4 aces and an assist and Jessica Robbins had 4 kills.
For Sumner, Aleena Huff had 3 aces, Whytne Crabtree had 3 kills, Danielle Bagley had 4 assists and 2 aces and Lexi Tracey had 5 assists and 2 aces.
