EAST MILLINOCKET — Matthew Thompson scored three goals and assisted on another as the Schenck Wolverines downed the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners 6-1 on Saturday.
Jared Lyons, Adam Vienneau and Nathan Cram also scored for Schenck.
Kevin Melanio had the lone goal for the Mariners on an assist from Tyler Bartlett.
Hayden Torrey had 20 saves on 28 shots in goal for the Mariners, and Jared Albert and Jon Chiasson combined for eight saves on 10 shots for the Wolverines.
