WINSLOW – The annual “Becoming an Outdoorswoman” (BOW) Introductory Skills Weekend hosted by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife and the Friends of Maine BOW is set for Friday to Sunday, Sept. 16 to 18, at Camp Caribou on Pattee’s Pond.
The workshop provides opportunity for women who are 18 years or older to gain or improve skills in hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation. Sessions include a variety of hands-on learning experiences taught by instructors who are passionate and knowledgeable in the Maine outdoors. Cost to attend is $225 and includes all meals, lodging, instruction and equipment.
