Coastal took its only lead in the bottom of the second.

Mariner Cheney led off with a double, went to third on a balk by Waldo County pitcher Dillon Corliss and scored on a sacrifice bunt by Loriman Looke.

Scott Barker, who reached base when he was hit by a pitch, scored as a grounder to second by Peter Howell was misplayed.

Waldo County erupted for five runs in the top of the fourth on an RBI single by Rodgerson, a two-run single by Higgins, an RBI triple by Palmer and an RBI single by Cody Varney that brought Ciomei to the mound in relief of Morey.

Waldo County added two more runs in the sixth on doubles by Higgins and Palmer, a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly by Varney.
