LAMOINE — The Ellsworth Football League will be taking team registrations for youngsters in grades 3-8 on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at the Lamoine Consolidated School field.

LAMOINE — The Ellsworth Football League will be taking team registrations for youngsters in grades 3-8 on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at the Lamoine Consolidated School field.
The youth league is being sponsored this year by Darling’s Auto Mall and GM. Each player will receive a T-shirt upon registering, and other promotional items also will be distributed.
Some changes are being made this year in the practice schedules. The teams for grades 3-4 will practice Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and the teams for grades 5-6 will be practicing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Lamoine field.
The team for grades 7-8 will be practicing at Ellsworth High School.
Home games for grades 3-6 will be at Lamoine, with the seventh- and eighth-graders playing on the field at the high school.
All practices will start the week of Aug. 15, with equipment to be issued the following week (except for high school players).
All players must have paid their registration fees in order to receive equipment.
Registration for high school players will be on parents’ nights to be scheduled at Ellsworth and Sumner high schools, and high school team practices will begin Aug. 15.
