Junior League: Acadian Nips Calais

BAR HARBOR — Acadian evened their record at 1-1 on Saturday as they eked out an 11-10 victory to eliminate Calais in the District 1 tournament.

Matthew Lambert and Thomas Paola combined to pitch the win for Acadian, allowing nine hits and striking out eight.

Seth Young had a two-run single, Lambert had three singles and an RBI, Paola singled with an RBI and Alden Schuman and Cordell Soper each doubled for Acadian.

Kyle Johnson and Nathan Newell each doubled, J.C. Myers and Kenny Russell had RBI singles and Will Urquhart doubled for Calais.
