BAR HARBOR — Daniel R. Daigneault, president and chief executive officer of The First Bancorp, recently announced that Lorraine Ouellette has joined First Advisors as a senior relationship manager. First Advisors is the investment management division of The First.

“We welcome Lorraine to the team and look forward to her playing an extremely active role in our business development strategies,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Tony C. McKim. “She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience that is rooted in personalized service, all of which are great assets to share with our clients.”

Ouellette brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her banking career at Fleet Bank of Maine in 1985, where she eventually assumed the responsibilities of trust employee benefit administrator.

Ouellette received her associate degree in business management from Eastern Maine Community College and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Husson University. She also has completed online training with Cannon Trust School and completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program at the Wharton School of Business.

Ouellette has served as board president for Special Children’s Friends and served as treasurer for the Ellsworth Free Medical Clinic.
