The Good News Center
Gareth Warr is the son of Michael Warr and Laurie Nicholson of Stonington. A member of Peer Support and the National Honor Society, he played tennis and chess and was involved in tech work for the Reach Performing Arts Center and the Stonington Opera House.
Warr served as student representative to the Island Community Center board and participated in a service learning trip to Panama with Sustainable Harvest International.
He will attend the University of Maine at Orono next fall, where he plans to enroll in the pre-law program and concentrate his studies in international affairs and political science.
Ian Pelletier is the son of David and Jackie Pelletier of Deer Isle. A member of the National Honor Society, he played on the soccer, tennis and chess teams each of his four years in high school. He received a Maine Principal’s Award this year.
Pelletier is a licensed emergency medical technician, and he has traveled twice to Honduras on service missions. An avid participant in the Reach Performing Arts Center, he has provided tech work for performances and has served on the center’s advisory board, among other contributions.
He plans to attend the University of New England as a biology major in the school’s pre-med program.
Kelsey Davis is the daughter of David and Vicki Davis of Sunshine. A member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council, she was a member of the cheering squad for four years and served as captain her senior year.
She was involved in dance throughout her high school career and participated in two service missions to Honduras.
Davis plans to study liberal arts at the University of Maine next fall.
Sarah Eaton is the daughter of Newman Eaton of Sedgwick and Jessica Gillen of Deer Isle. A member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council, she also was a member of the LOFT (Looking Out For Teens) substance abuse prevention group.
An avid dance participant in high school, Eaton plans to attend the University of Maine.
