Monday, May 04, 2009 at 9:38 am

Governor John Baldacci's office reports that there are now seven cases of swine flu (H1N1) in Maine. The latest case is an adult in York County.

David Farmer, a spokesman for the Governor, said none of the residents was hospitalized and all are recovering at home.

As of Sunday, there were two confirmed cases in Kennebec County, four in York County, and one case in Penobscot County.

Maine’s shipment of 50,000 treatment courses of anti-viral drugs arrived over the weekend. The drugs were distributed to nine regional medical centers across the state.
