ELLSWORTH — Sumner Tiger senior Ryan Grover and Bucksport Golden Buck senior Jordan Fogg both reached milestones recently with their 100th career wrestling wins.
Both wrestlers regularly compete in the 152-pound weight class and could wind up going head to head in the upcoming Penobscot Valley Conference championships on Saturday at Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln.
Grover, who is the lone wrestler from Sumner and trains and competes with the Ellsworth Eagles, scored his 100th win a couple of weeks ago.
Fogg went over the century mark on Monday at Bucksport when he pinned Julius Tiesler of the George Stevens Academy Eagles in his second bout of the night’s four-team competition.
Detailed results from that meet, which also involved the Woodland Dragons and the Calvary Chapel Sabers, were not available in time for publication.
