TRENTON — Grab your Ray-Ban’s and Hula Hoops and head to the Trenton Grange Hall on Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. for a retro sock hop.
The Portland-based band “Three Button Deluxe” will be providing the look and sounds to make dancers think Bill Haley is Rockin’ Around the Clock in Downeast Maine. Hot sax lines and swinging guitar solos will have the crowd jumping to the jivin’ sounds from the years when the babies were boomin’ jack!
So take your poodle skirt out for a stroll and comb your pompadour. The dance is chem-free and family friendly. Refreshments will be severed.
