WENHAM, Mass. — The Lady Mariner cross country team participated in the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College on Saturday. MMA placed 25th with 697 points.
Laurel Evanofski (Contoocook, NH) was the top MMA runner, placing 125th, while first year runner Emily Fanning finished in 128th place. Samantha Deplanche (Dover, NH), Courtney Dufour (Augusta), and Casey McCloskey (Howland) also placed for the Lady Mariners.
Southern New Hampshire University won the team crown on Saturday with a score of 90 points. Salve Regina, Wellesley, Saint Anselm's, and UNE rounded out the top five.
