BUCKSPORT — Two Ellsworth teams competed at Bucksport on Saturday.
The fifth- and sixth-graders lost 26-6 after trailing just 7-6 at halftime.
Bryce Harmon scored for Ellsworth on a halfback option pass from the 15-yard line, and defensive end Jacob Shorey came up with a big quarterback sack.
Despite leadership from Nathaniel LePage on offense and Noah Neleski on defense, the Ellsworth third- and fourth-graders lost 19-0 in their contest against Bucksport.
