ORONO — The struggles continued for the slumping Sumner Tigers, who saw a 5-3 lead disappear as the Orono Red Riots rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 6-5 win on Friday.
A two-run double by Elizabeth Fox was the big blow as the Red Riots strung together four consecutive hits in the inning.
For the Tigers, Morgan Whitten had two singles and a three-run triple and Clarissa West had three singles.
