Lady Eagles Upset Bid Falls Short

BLUE HILL — The GSA Eagles came up short in their bid for a Class C upset, falling to the Central Red Devils of East Corinth 44-41 on Wednesday.

The Eagles trailed the second-ranked Red Devils by just two points, 32-30, going into the fourth period.

But four late foul shots by Central’s Hannah Pray sealed the victory.

India Frazier had 17 points and Stevie Theoharidis had 12 to lead the Eagles.

Bekah Campbell scored 17 points and Pray added 12 for Central.
