ORONO — Bucksport’s Vince Tymoczko won three events, and Brianne Dunn of the Ellsworth Eagles and Nat Hinckley and Destiny Kanu of the Mount Desert Island Trojans each won two at last week’s Eastern Maine Indoor Track League competition at the University of Maine fieldhouse.
The speedy Tymoczko placed first in the 55-meter dash in 6.95 seconds, the 200-meter run in 23.62 seconds and the 400-meter run in 50.89 seconds.
In boys’ team competition, it was Old Town first with 137 points, followed by Hampden Academy with 113, MDI with 76, Bucksport 46, Ellsworth 29, Foxcroft Academy 6 and Mattanawcook Academy 1.
For MDI, Hinckley won the shot put with a throw of 42 feet, 3 inches, and the long jump with a distance of 19 feet, 9.75 inches.
Also for MDI, Ben Cummings won the pole vault with a height of 12 feet, and the foursome of Chris Heel, Haydn Thomas, Adam Davis and Matthew Jardine won the four-by-880-yard relay in 11:17.76.
For the Ellsworth Eagles, Ben Chapman won the 800-meter run in 2:05.21.

Long jump: Sage Dyer, Ellsworth, fifth, 17 feet, 7.5 inches.
Triple jump: Dyer, fourth, 36 feet, 8.25 inches.
Pole vault: Carl Ferm, MDI, fourth, 8 feet.
In the girls’ meet, Ellsworth’s Dunn was first in the mile run in 5:48.83 and the two-mile run in 13:10.65.
Kanu of MDI won the55-meter dash in 7.69 seconds and the 200-meter run in 27.36 seconds.
The Bucksport foursome of Kelly Bourgon, Kate Bridges, Nellie Winship and Molly Hunt won the four-by-220-yard relay in 2:01.62.

Competing in separate, but simultaneous meets, the Sumner Tiger boys and girls both finished in last place.
For the Tiger boys, the foursome of Taylor Lee, Brandon Wade, Zac Wells and Kurt Hand placed third in the four-by-880-yard relay in 9:55.56, and the foursome of John Sandiego, Chris Light, Kwan Yat Lo and Mike Crowley was fourth in the four-by-220-yard relay in 1:46.10.
For the Sumner girls, the foursome of Aidan Kadyrova, Jacqueline Cormier, Jamie Hoglund and Moriah Estabrook placed fifth in the four-by-220-yard relay in 2:09.50.
