BAR HARBOR — On Friday Emerson Junior High Girls ‘A’ team defeated Pemetic 46-38. Emerson’s Hannah Shaw scored 30 points. Pemetic’s Sierra Myrick scored 15 points.
Emerson controlled the offensive tempo and cleared the defensive boards. The teams played evenly throughout the game. Emerson held Pemetic to a single shot on almost every possession by strong post play by Hannah McGarr and Madeline Cook and the rest. Pemetic kept the pressure on with a balanced scoring attack, Page Klausky had eight points. All Emerson starters netted points.
