BUCKSPORT — Coastal Crescent Kennel Club is hosting its 34th Annual AKC-sanctioned Dog Competition on Sunday, July 19.

Trophies and ribbons will be presented for breed and obedience events and a Rally-O match. Rally-O is a dog obedience sport. Dog and handler teams follow a set course of designated stations where there are instructions for the next skill to be performed.

The event is free and open to the public. It will take place rain or shine at 10 a.m. and continue through the afternoon on Middle Field on Miles Lane in Bucksport (between the Regional Health Center and Bucksport High School off Broadway).

The public is encouraged to attend.
