AMHC, a nonprofit organization, has announced two promotions.
Diane Kay, LCSW, has been promoted to therapist consultant providing mental health services for children and adults in Ellsworth.
Kay has worked for AMHC since July 2009 when AMHC acquired Washington County Psychotherapy Associates. Prior to joining AMHC, Kay was a home-based services clinician, independent consultant in Camden and youth outreach worker for Home Counselors in Rockland. She was also a human services social worker for the California Department of Health and Human Services Child Protective Services Division in Sacramento.
Linda Collins, LMSW-cc, has also been promoted to therapist-consultant providing mental health services for children and adults in Ellsworth. Collins has worked for AMHC since July 2009 when AMHC acquired Washington County Psychotherapy Associates.
Collins was a mobile crisis and telephone crisis worker in Hancock County for 13 years. She has a degree in psychology from the University of Maine at Machias and her master’s in social work degree from the University of Maine at Orono.
AMHC has been providing mental health, substance abuse and rehabilitation services since 1970. It has branches located in Ellsworth, Machias and Calais as well as Houlton, Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Madawaska and Fort Kent in northern Maine.
