WHEATON, Mass. — Senior James Little of Mount Desert has helped the Wheaton College men’s tennis team to six consecutive wins this season.

In action last week, the Lyons went 3-0, downing Bridgewater State College 9-0, besting Salve Regina University 7-2 and defeating the U.S. Coast Guard Academy 6-3.

In the sweep against Bridgewater, Little won his singles match in straight sets and paired with junior Gregory Poulin for a doubles victory.

Little also was victorious in singles and doubles against Salve Regina.

In the win over Coast Guard, Little and Poulin eked out a slim 9-8 doubles win and Little again notched a win at singles for the Lyons.

The six consecutive wins is the longest streak for the team since 2007.
